At only 19 years of age, Alison Lenton has already performed in many different musical genres inclusing Jazz, Pop, Opera and Musical Theatre. Developing a passion and love for music at a young age saw her begin 7 years of private vocal tuition with the likes of Australian Idol Coach - Erana Clarke (Leef), Naomi Stevens and Elizabeth Scott. During this time Alison also performed extensively throughout the community including appearances at the Olympic Torch Ceremony and the Sydney Opera House. She then went on to study at the Newtown Performing Arts School and was offered a position to study further at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Alison is currently regularly performing in the duo Alison & Kirk, and working as a vocal coach, and is buisy writing new material for her upcoming album.
